Position Title: RN – Med/Surg
Location: Brooklyn, NY 11206
Weekly Hours: 36–40 hours
Shift: Night Shift | 7:30 PM – 8:00 AM
Duration: 14 weeks (with high possibility of extension)
Position Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting. The RN will deliver direct patient care, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with clinical standards and protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Provide bedside care to pre- and post-surgical patients
- Administer and document medications accurately
- Monitor patient vitals and report any adverse reactions
- Perform wound care, IV insertion, and catheterization
- Operate and monitor specialized medical equipment
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare teams on discharge planning
- Educate patients and families on treatment and recovery
- Ensure adherence to nursing standards and safety protocols
Required Qualifications:
- Active New York State RN License (Primary Source Verified)
- AHA BLS Certification
Education:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution
Experience & Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience in acute care or post-acute settings
- Recent experience within the past year required
- Strong clinical skills and patient care expertise
