• Experience: 2+ years of Med Surg experience (Required)

• Experience with tracheostomy and laryngectomy patients: Preferred

• Tele Trained: Required

• COVID Vaccine: Required

• ACLS: Preferred

• Certifications: BLS

• State License Requirements: Michigan

• Additional License Requirements: License must be active at the time of submission

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish a therapeutic relationship and create a detailed plan of care with the patient and family.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of plans and interventions to promote the achievement of established goals.

• Initiate and maintain open communication with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and integrated care.

• Communicate with patients, families, subordinate staff, and peers to ensure plans and interventions are understood and operationalized.

Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:4

Additional Information:

• Nonbillable Hours: 12 hours of initial hours

• OT/Holiday/Call back Markups: 1.1x Regular rates

• Extension Discount: on the initial extension.

• Travel rates reduced by 10% for individuals with a permanent address within a 35-mile radius of the facility.
