Beacon Breaks Ground on New Memorial Hospital Patient Tower
In October 2022, Beacon Health System leaders broke ground on the new 10-story patient care tower on the campus of Memorial Hospital of South Bend. This transformational, once-in-a-generation project is designed to enrich the patient, family and visitor experience while meeting the growing healthcare needs of residents in our area for decades to come.
The tower is expected to create an estimated 500 new jobs in the community upon anticipated completion in early 2026. Click here to learn more about the new patient tower.

Summary
$10,000 sign-on bonus
Part time. 24 hrs/week. Day shift. 7am - 7:30 pm. Weekends and holiday per unit rotation.
Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Responsibilities:
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Required Credential(s):
Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
Licensed Registered Nurse obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
One or more of the following:
Certified Registered Nurse specializing in Trauma Nurse obtained within 18 Months (1 1/2 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
Advanced Certified Registered Nurse specializing in Trauma obtained within 18 Months (1 1/2 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
Preferred Credential(s):
Certified Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Nursing Pediatrics.
