Shift Details

• Shift: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
• Candidates must be willing to float to units with equal or lower acuity as needed.

Position Summary

Provides compassionate, high-quality patient care by utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinates and delivers patient care, supervises delegated activities, educates patients and families, and collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure positive patient outcomes.

Requirements

Experience

Required:

• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) experience.
• Active Michigan RN License.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA).

Highly Preferred:

• At least 1 year of experience working on a surgical floor.

Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to develop and implement effective nursing care plans.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Capable of providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment.
