Job Description We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Medical/Surgical Oncology team in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate, evidence-based care to oncology patients, administer chemotherapy, monitor treatment responses, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for oncology patients.
Administer chemotherapy and other prescribed medications in accordance with established protocols.
Monitor patient conditions, identify changes, and communicate updates to physicians and the care team.
Provide patient and family education regarding cancer treatments, medications, symptom management, and discharge planning.
Perform ongoing assessments and manage treatment-related side effects and complications.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
Float to other units within scope of competency as needed.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and promote a safe patient care environment.
Requirements
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License Colorado or Compact license
