RN - Med/Surg Ortho

Job Title: RN – Med/Surg Orthopedics
Location: Billings, MT 59101
Duration: 13+ Weeks | Possible Extension
Shift: Variable 12-Hour Shifts
Pay:  Local: $60/hr on W2
Travel: $2302/Weekly

Job Summary:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to Med/Surg orthopedic patients.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Monitor patient health status and provide treatments and therapies.
• Administer medications and execute delegated medical functions.
• Provide patient education and health counseling.
• Review and monitor treatment plans and patient progress.
• Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation according to hospital and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to support quality patient outcomes.
• May float to other departments within competency and qualifications.
• May be required to take on-call assignments during scheduled shifts.

Requirements:

• Active RN License
• Med/Surg Orthopedic nursing experience in last 3 years
• BLS, ACLS & NIHSS
