13wks, Day shift, 3x12= 36hrs guaranteed


Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality general medical-surgical care to patients on-site.

  • Monitor the patient's status and promptly escalate any changes to the care team.

  • Utilize performance metrics and pipelines to drive personal and team results.

  • Document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes in the electronic medical record.

  • Implement care plans aligned with hospital protocols and evidence-based practices.

  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and institutional policies.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve patient care targets.

  • Participate in on-site quality improvement initiatives and safety rounds.

  • Engage in continuous professional development to advance clinical skills.

  • Educate patients and families on discharge plans, medication, and follow-up care.

  • Demonstrate reliability and accountability for individual outcomes within a team environment.

  • Support resource management and efficient utilization within the department.


Experience/Qualifications

  • Active RN license with valid state registration.

  • General medical-surgical nursing experience in an on-site hospital setting.

  • Ability to monitor patient status and promptly escalate deteriorations.

  • Knowledge of hospital protocols, evidence-based practices, and regulatory standards.

  • Ability to work toward defined performance metrics and pipelines for target achievement.

  • Proficiency in electronic medical record documentation and care plan updates.

  • Participation in quality improvement initiatives and safety rounds.

  • Strong communication skills for patient/family education and team collaboration.

  • Demonstrated reliability, accountability, and ability to work within a high-visibility environment.

  • Contract role eligibility and willingness to work on-site with flexible scheduling.
