Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our night shift team on our Medical Surgical Telemetry unit. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a supportive, team-oriented culture where your skills and contributions are truly valued.
Unit Details
25-bed Medical Surgical Telemetry unit
Patient ratio: 5:1
Diverse patient population including overflow surgical and cardiac patients
Fast-paced, collaborative environment with strong interdisciplinary support
Schedule
Full-Time, Days
(3) 12-hour shifts per week
7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Preferred Skills & Experience
Cardiac/Telemetry experience
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) experience

Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse, oversee patient care using a professional practice model. Responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses. Secure patient travel. Know about patient needs in healthcare. Help patients and prevent issues. Follow the Texas Nursing Practice Act and delegate tasks based on condition and team competencies.
