What You’ll Do

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care in a Medical/Surgical setting
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized teaching plans for patients and their families
• Delegate tasks effectively and coordinate with interdisciplinary team members
• Monitor patient progress using data and clinical knowledge to promote optimal outcomes
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations and standards
• Support patient safety, dignity, and comfort while performing routine and urgent nursing duties
• Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively with team members and patients

What You Need

• Current Louisiana RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Proficiency in healthcare software and documentation
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
• Preferred: certification in a clinical specialty area
