    Description

    Job Summary: The Medical/Surgical RN provides comprehensive care to patients who are recovering from surgery or managing complex illnesses. The RN will work in a dynamic and challenging environment where they will be required to provide top-notch medical care and emotional support to patients and their families.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assess patient conditions by monitoring vital signs, symptoms, and surgical sites.
    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
    • Operate medical equipment necessary for patient care.
    • Coordinate with healthcare professionals to develop care plans for patients.
    • Educate patients and their families on post-surgery care and managing illness at home.
    • Maintain accurate patient records and document all care provided.
    • Adhere to all nursing and hospital policies and standards of care.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Nursing or equivalent.
    • Valid RN license in the state of practice.
    • BLS/ACLS certification preferred.
    • Minimum of two years experience in a medical-surgical setting.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency with electronic medical records and healthcare software systems.
