RN - Medical/Surgical (MS)

Position: RN – Medical/Surgical (MS)
Location: Aiken, SC
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 3x12s Nights

Must live at least 100 miles from the facility

License & Education:

• Current RN License (SC or Compact) – Required

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program – Required

• BSN – Highly desired

Certifications Required:

• NIHSS

• BLS

• ACLS

• CPI – Must be Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) NCI with Advanced Physical Skills Training course

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years inpatient nursing experience – Required

• Med/Surg Telemetry experience – Required

• Telemetry experience – Required

• Minimum 6 months travel nurse experience – Required

• Cerner EMR experience – Required

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, competent, and compassionate patient care

• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, including full review of systems

• Complete admission assessments within required timeframes

• Interpret clinical data and determine appropriate nursing interventions

• Provide age-appropriate care across the lifespan

• Document assessments and interventions per regulatory and facility standards

• Demonstrate understanding of treatment plans and patient care needs
