Required Skills
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2+ years of clinical experience in a hospital setting
- Proficiency with electronic health records and medical software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to assess patient needs and implement effective care plans
- Knowledge of nursing standards, ANA Code, and Nurse Practice Act
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care
Nice to Have Skills
- Certification in a clinical specialty (e.g., med-surg, telemetry)
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
- Experience with patient education and teaching strategies
- Leadership or mentoring experience within a nursing team
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- 2+ years of recent Medical/Surgical nursing experience
- Relevant certifications such as BLS and ACLS
Other Requirements
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Ability to work the Night Shift, 12-hour hours
- Willingness to adhere to all safety, compliance, and regulatory standards
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and prolonged standing
- Flexibility to support unit needs and participate in ongoing training
