Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

Certifications
NIH Stroke Scale (NIH)

Experience
Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
Previous travel nursing experience required
Telemetry experience with the ability to read telemetry

Technical Skills
Epic EMR experience
Telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation

Additional Requirements
Every Other Weekend availability
Every Other Holiday availability
No artificial or acrylic nails
Natural nails must remain shorter than ¼ inch
Willingness to float within skill set and to facilities within 40 miles if needed

Strong acute care Medical-Surgical background
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work across multiple units as needed

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to Medical-Surgical patients.
• Perform ongoing patient assessments and monitor clinical status.
• Interpret telemetry rhythms as part of patient care.
• Document all patient care accurately in Epic EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Administer medications and treatments per provider orders
• Float within your competency to onsite units or facilities within 40 miles as needed.
• Maintain compliance with facility infection prevention and appearance policies.
