    Description

    Job Title: RN Medicine Specialty - FS
    Location: Oklahoma City, OK 73104
    Duration: 13 weeks
    Shift/Schedule: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts, 36 hours/week

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical and step-down patients.
    • Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
    • Administer medications, IV infusions, and blood products.
    • Assist physicians with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.
    • Monitor physiological changes and intervene appropriately.
    • Educate patients and families on care plans, hospital procedures, and discharge instructions.
    • Coordinate patient care and communicate with the interdisciplinary team.
    • Delegate tasks to support staff as appropriate.
    • Maintain accurate electronic documentation.
    • Perform other assigned nursing duties.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 1 year of RN experience.
    • Step-Down (SD) and Medical-Surgical (MS) experience required.
    • Charge nurse experience is highly preferred.
    • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
    • BSN preferred.
    • Current Oklahoma RN License or Compact (eNLC) RN License.
    • Current AHA BLS certification.
    • Strong knowledge of nursing practices, patient assessment, and medication administration.
    • Good communication, organizational, and computer skills.

    Preferences:

    • Charge nurse experience.
    • BSN degree.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment.
