Experience: 18 months Med/Tele RN required
First-time traveler: Accepted

Patient Types:
Cardiac, Respiratory, Neuro, etc. | Fast-paced | Observation unit

Ratios:
RN: 1:5-6 (up to 1:7-8 during surge)
CNA: 1:12

Required Certs:
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Skills:
Cardiac rhythm interpretation | Non-titrating drips (Cardizem, Amiodarone) | Med/Surg care | IV starts | Blood products | Wound care | Tubes/Drains

Support:
CNA support | No HUC
Charge RN (resource)
Phlebotomy | IV/VAT team | RT 24/7
Hospitalist (Day onsite / Night virtual)
Intensivist 24/7
Remote telemetry monitoring

Equipment/EMR:
EPIC (min 6 months) | Alaris pumps | Omnicell | Massimo monitors

Floating:
Region 3 within scope required (Do not submit if not agreeable)
Paid travel time between facilities

Orientation:
NEO + 2 days unit

Schedule:
12hr shifts: 0645-1915 / 1845-0715 (or 0700-1900)
Weekend: Every other
Call: Low census possible (call back up to 3a/3p)
Holidays: 75% required
RTO: Max 6 days (excl. holidays)
Schedule cycle: 6 weeks
