Unit Information

  • 32-Bed MedSurg/Telemetry Unit
  • Minimum Experience Required: 18 Months MedSurg/Telemetry RN Experience
  • First-Time Travelers Accepted

  • Small Bowel Obstructions
  • Colectomies
  • Colon & Small Bowel Resections
  • Nephrectomies
  • Hysterectomies
  • Mastectomies

  • Hernia Repairs
  • Splenectomies
  • Thyroidectomies

Medical & Specialty Cases

  • Kidney Stones
  • Pneumothorax

  • Bariatric Surgery Patients

Floating Requirements

Required Floating

Travelers must be willing to float within Region 1 based on operational needs and scope of practice.

Floating Information

  • May float to facilities within Region 1
  • If floating during a shift, traveler remains on the clock
  • Travel time between facilities is paid

Candidates unwilling to float within Region 1 should not be submitted.

  • 36 Hours Per Week

Weekend Requirement

  • Every Other Weekend (EOW)

Schedule Cycle

  • Every 6 Weeks

On-Call Requirement

  • None

Holiday Requirements

  • Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays

Time-Off Requests

  • Up to 6 Days Off May Be Approved
  • Holidays cannot be included in approved RTO
  • Contract may require extension if contracted hours are not met
