Job Summary

W. W. Hastings Hospital is seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to provide comprehensive obstetric and women's health services. The midwife will triage patients, manage labor, admit patients, perform uncomplicated vaginal deliveries, and discharge appropriate non-C-section patients.

The midwife will work closely with physicians when patients present with complicated pregnancies or require operative delivery. There are also opportunities to see patients in the Women's Clinic, although the primary responsibility is in-house labor and delivery coverage.

The facility currently averages approximately 5–6 births per day.

Requirements

• Certified Nurse Midwife with current AMCB certification

• Recent Labor & Delivery / Midwifery experience required

• Experience managing labor and performing uncomplicated vaginal deliveries

• Ability to triage, admit, manage labor, deliver, and discharge appropriate patients

• Experience identifying and escalating high-risk or complicated pregnancies

• Must be comfortable working 24-hour in-house shifts

• Must be available for approximately 7 × 24-hour shifts per month

• Must be willing to work occasional Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays as needed

• Always off following an in-house call shift

• Designated call room available

• May work two shifts with at least 24 hours between shifts

• Active Oklahoma RN/Midwife license

• Oklahoma DEA

• BLS

• ACLS

• NRP

• OBDNN

• Must meet all facility credentialing requirements
