Travel RN - Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Location: 915 Highland Blvd. • Bozeman MT 59715 (Facility requires traveler to live at least 90 miles away to be considered)

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Shift: Night Shift (3x12 hours)

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Montana. In this role, you will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive maternal and fetal care, act as a Charge Nurse when needed, and assist with smooth unit operations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Provide direct patient care across antepartum, intrapartum, pre-op, and PACU.

• Function as a Charge Nurse and catch/transition newborns.

• Act as an OR circulator during obstetric procedures.

• Willingness to float to other departments (such as Med-Surg or act as a safety companion) as needed for hospital staffing coverage.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Active Montana RN License (Must be active on file at submission)

• Minimum 2 Years of recent L&D nursing experience

• Certifications Required:

  • American Heart Association BLS

  • STABLE Certification

  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification

• Competence in and a willingness to practice modified primary nursing.

Important Facility Guidelines:

• Low Census Policy: The facility reserves the right to cancel up to three (3) shifts per 13-week contract in the event of low census or unforeseen circumstances.
