What Youll Do
Deliver high-quality patient-centered care using the nursing process within the scope of practice and standards.
Assess patient needs, develop, implement, and evaluate care plans.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
Delegate tasks appropriately and supervise licensed and ancillary staff.
Advocate for patient safety, privacy, and comfort.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations and standards.
Document care accurately and thoroughly using hospital electronic systems.
Respond to emergencies, administer medications, and perform interventions as required.
What You Need
Required:
Valid RN license in Louisiana
BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association
Minimum of 2 years recent medical-surgical nursing experience
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency with computer systems and electronic documentation
Preferred:
Bachelors or Associate degree in Nursing
Certification in a clinical specialty area
