Shift: 12hr Night Shift (36)

Shift Information: 7:00pm-7:30am

Clinical Interviewing: Yes

On Call, Call Back Requirements: None

Weekend Rotation: EOW

Holiday Requirements: Every other holiday

Floating Requirements: to Peds/M/S unit for overflow NICU

Experience: 1-2 years

First-time traveler: Upon Review

Patient Types:

Micropreemies, no major surgeries, infections, respiratory distress, NAS, level 3

Patient Ratios:

1:1-3 (days & nights)

Required Certifications:


RN: BLS, NRP, STABLE(preferred)

Skills required:


Experience at a level III NICU, 02 therapy, nitrate oxide, CPAP, chest tube, care of micro preemie, experience with intubated and vented neonates, delivery experience,

Transport experience (preferred)

Support on the Unit:

CNA 1:18

Phlebotomy lab draws

Charge nurse: takes an assignment

Bedside tele and nurses station tele monitoring with no tele tech

Neonatologist & NP in house 24/7

Charting System/Equipment:

EPIC

Alaris

Pyxis

Orientation:

General hospital orientation

1 shift on the unit

Floating:

-Could be used on PEDS to take care of NICU babies

Scheduling

Weekend rotation: Every other

No Call

Can we approve time off: Up to 7 days
