RN NICU

NICU Registered Nurse (RN) Level IIIWe are seeking an experienced NICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care in a Level III NICU. This position requires a nurse who is comfortable managing super high-acuity and critically ill neonates, including infants requiring advanced respiratory support and therapeutic cooling.Experience RequirementsStrong experience caring for high-acuity and critically ill neonatesTherapeutic cooling experience requiredMust be comfortable independently managing complex NICU patientsPrevious travel experience preferred for traveler positionsClinical Skills & ResponsibilitiesProvide direct nursing care to premature, critically ill, and medically complex neonatesCare for infants requiring therapeutic hypothermia/coolingManage high-acuity patients requiring advanced respiratory and hemodynamic supportExperience with ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP/NIPPV, and high-flow oxygenMonitor and manage central lines, PICC lines, umbilical lines (UAC/UVC), and other invasive devicesAdminister and titrate IV medications, continuous infusions, TPN, and blood products as orderedRecognize and respond quickly to neonatal deterioration and emergency situationsParticipate in neonatal resuscitation and stabilizationPerform comprehensive neonatal assessments and closely monitor changes in patient conditionCollaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and the multidisciplinary NICU teamProvide education and emotional support to parents and families throughout the infant's hospitalizationMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentationRequired CertificationsActive RN licenseBLSNRPAdditional certifications may be required based on facility policyIdeal CandidateThe ideal candidate will have 3 4+ years of strong Level III NICU experience and be confident caring for extremely high-acuity neonates. Candidates must have hands-on therapeutic cooling experience and be able to function effectively in a fast-paced NICU environment with minimal supervision.
