About the Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong clinical leader who can support frontline nursing staff, coordinate patient care, promote quality and safety, and serve as a reliable resource for the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.

• Coordinate and oversee daily patient care activities.

• Serve as a resource and mentor to RNs and other clinical staff.

• Assist with patient assignments and ensure appropriate staffing and workflow.

• Monitor patient care to ensure compliance with facility policies and clinical standards.

• Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary teams.

• Assist with managing complex or high-acuity patient situations.

• Promote effective communication among patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

• Support staff with clinical decision-making and escalation of patient concerns.

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation.

• Promote patient safety, quality improvement, and infection-control practices.

• Assist with orientation, education, and training of nursing staff as needed.

• Respond appropriately to emergencies and changing patient-care priorities.

RN – Nurse Lead Requirements

• Active California RN License – required

• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience – required

• Previous Nurse Lead, Charge Nurse, or nursing leadership experience strongly preferred

• Current BLS certification – required

• ACLS certification – preferred/required based on facility requirements

• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills

• Demonstrated experience with staff coordination, delegation, and patient assignments

• Ability to provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff

• Strong communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills

• Experience working in a hospital/acute-care setting preferred
