RN Nurse Manager St Anthony
Position Summary
The Nurse Manager provides leadership and oversight for a designated nursing unit by directing the nursing process, managing resources, and ensuring high-quality resident care through effective assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role conducts and oversees comprehensive assessments, develops and updates individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, and ensures clinical practices align with state and federal regulations. The Nurse Manager supervises nursing staff, delegates tasks appropriately, addresses performance concerns, and maintains adequate staffing. Additional responsibilities include accurate documentation, clear communication of physician orders and care updates, precise medication administration and controlled substance management, and adherence to Medicare, facility, and Department of Health standards. The position also supports audits, QAPI initiatives, ongoing training, and a positive, compliant work culture focused on resident well-being.
Qualifications:
Licensure & Certification: Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in Minnesota and certified in CPR and emergency care for healthcare providers.
Communication & Functional Ability: Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written forms and perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Experience & Education: Experience in healthcare, skilled nursing, or assisted living settings.
