RN Nursing Intern

The student nurse intern is responsible for assisting in the delivery of both direct and indirect patient care under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. The student nurse intern will be given the opportunity to experience a realistic working environment as a nurse and gain experience in an employment situation in a healthcare organization. The student nurse intern learns how to provide clinical treatment based on the nursing process of assessment, nursing diagnosis, plan, intervention and evaluation.   Must be currently enrolled in a BSN program and completed junior year with a 2.5 GPA or higher before starting internship.
