Required Skills:
- Valid RN license in your state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a healthcare setting, preferably with oncology or specialized patient populations
- Strong knowledge of nursing processes, patient assessment, and evidence-based care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Sound judgment and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in managing confidential information and maintaining privacy
Nice to Have Skills:
- Certification in oncology nursing (OCN) or related specialties
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred
- At least 2 years of direct oncology or related specialty experience in a hospital or clinical setting
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work flexible hours, including overnight shifts as indicated by the schedule
- Ability to perform heavy physical work and work in environments with exposure to blood, body fluids, and infectious materials
