Job Summary and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the daily care of the patient including admissions, assessments, treatments, medications, education and discharge planning. Develops, implements and modifies the patient care plan as indicated by patient's conditions and responses. Uses multidisciplinary team strategies to resolve patient problems
  • Administer medications using barcode scanning
  • Ensures all required documentation completed in ORM within Meditech for all surgical patients
  • Demonstrates adequacy in EDM tracker and PCS
  • Respectful and effective communication with all patient populations, physicians, and across all areas of continuum of care
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with Safe Patient Handling techniques

Job Requirements

Required

  • Registered Nurse Degree from an Accredited College or University
  • Registered Nurse: MN
  • Basic Life Support - CPR
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support
