Job Summary and Responsibilities

• Direct team activities in the OR
• Assure proper communication in OR among staff and surgeons
• Develop a perioperative nursing care plan, through assessment of patient care needs.
• Demonstrates understanding of the hospital's mission and values and their impact on nursing practices.
• Demonstrate consistent alignment with our behavior standards.
• Collaborates with other care staff to assure smooth transition for patients throughout the facility using proper hand off techniques.

Job Requirements

Required

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Registered Nurse: MN
• Basic Life Support - CPR
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 6 - months and
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support
• Operating Room experience

Preferred

• Certified Nurse Operating Room
