RN – CVOR (Open Heart / Operating Room)
Facility: Northwest Texas Healthcare System
Location: Amarillo, TX 79106
Shift: Mon - Fri, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM + On-Call

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years CVOR experience (Open Heart required)
  • OR experience with scrub & circulate (1+ year considered)
  • Active RN License (TX)
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
  • Cerner experience required
  • BSN preferred
  • Must live 100+ miles away (travel requirement)

Responsibilities:
  • Provide perioperative nursing care for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries
  • Assist in procedures such as:
  • CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Graft)
  • Valve replacements
  • Carotid Endarterectomy
  • AAA (Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm) repair
  • Perform scrub and circulating duties
  • Ensure patient safety, sterile technique, and surgical efficiency
  • Collaborate with surgical and interdisciplinary teams
  • Document care accurately in Cerner
