RN - Operating Room (OR)

must live 100 miles away
Monday- Friday 8 hour shifts 0700-1530
On call variation as needed to provide trauma coverage. These are call shifts- this will vary depending on staffing/PTO, etc.
1530-1900 (M-F), 1900-0700 (M-F), 0700-1900 (Saturday/Sunday), 1900-0700 (Saturday/ Sunday)
Holiday Call required - Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve night, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve night, New Year's Day. Potential 1-2 call shifts.

TRAUMA EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - looking for Circulating RNs
" Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program Required
" BSN - Highly desired
" PALS, BLS & ACLS Required
" Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state/district - Required
" OR Experience - Required: 3 Years

"The operating room nurse is responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures; department admissions to the operative suite. Adheres to standards and appropriate aseptic techniques. Consults and coordinates with team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate intraoperative patient care plans. Serves as a communication liaison to patients, families, and member of the operating team. Prepares the operating room for the patient and surgical procedure. Assembles equipment, supplies, and ensures equipment is functional, and supplies/implants are available. "
