RN – OR (Contract)

Location: California 93301
Pay: $2,327 – $2,608/week
Schedule: Day Shift, 8-hour shifts
Start Time: As early as 6:30 AM

Position Summary & Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate perioperative patient care

• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure safe outcomes

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care

Requirements

• Active RN license (CA) – Required

• BLS (AHA or ARC) – Required

• Acute care experience – Preferred

• BSN – Preferred

Additional Information

• 240-bed hospital | 8 ORs

• Call: ~1 shift/week + 1 weekend per 6-week schedule (Friday–Sunday, on-call)

• Float to other surgery areas as needed

• Systems: Pyxis | Cerner (transitioning to Epic)

• Equipment/Procedures: DaVinci, Mako, O-Arm, open heart, MIS cases

• Support services available (pharmacy, phlebotomy, transport)

• Must meet vaccination requirements (exemptions may apply)
