RN - OR - Days (6:30a-3p)

Our client is currently seeking a RN – OR – Days (6:30a–3p)

Total Gross Pay: $2,566.00/week

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Utilize the Nursing Process to deliver safe and effective care in the Operating Room
• Prepare patients for surgical procedures and assist during intraoperative care
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after surgery
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure proper OR setup
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary teams
• Delegate tasks and support ancillary staff appropriately
• Educate patients and families on procedures and post-op care
• Document patient care accurately and maintain confidentiality
• Promote compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards
• Participate in process improvement and departmental initiatives

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education and/or Certification Requirement:

• Required: Registered Nurse (RN) Diploma
• Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Active RN License (state of practice or compact)
• BLS (AHA) required
• ACLS preferred(facility notes indicate not required for submission)

Experience Requirement:

• Minimum 2+ years Operating Room (OR) experience required
• Experience in General Surgery strongly preferred
• Prior travel experience preferred
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Management Requirement:

• Demonstrated ability to delegate and support team workflow
• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams

Process Oversight Requirement:

• Ensures adherence to Nurse Practice Act, ANA standards, and facility policies
• Maintains compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements
• Supports quality improvement and patient outcome initiatives

Additional Requirements:

• Must live outside a 65-mile radius
• Submission packet, references, and license verification required
• Must meet facility onboarding requirements
• Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (no weekends)
• Duration: 13 weeks | 40 hours/week
