What You’ll Do

• Independently plan, deliver, and evaluate patient care using established clinical standards and protocols
• Provide hands-on nursing care throughout the surgical process
• Anticipate the needs of surgeons and the surgical team to ensure seamless procedures
• Use critical thinking and sound clinical judgment in high-pressure situations
• Accurately document patient care in electronic or paper medical records
• Administer medications safely and confidently, using available resources when needed
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams throughout the continuum of care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit-based committees
• Serve as a mentor or preceptor to new staff, students, and team members
• Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge and actively engage in ongoing education
• Provide clear and thorough handoffs to ensure continuity of care
• Take on-call shifts as required

What You Bring

• Active RN license in the State of Florida
• At least 1 year of recent Operating Room experience
• BLS and ALS certifications through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills
• Comfort working independently with minimal supervision
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows
