Take on a rewarding role in a Magnetxc2xae designated and world-class health organization! The clinical nurse is a professional caregiver who provides direct patient care and assumes responsibility and accountability for surgical patients in the Operating Room, via the nursing process.
Under direct supervision of the Unit Director and Assistant Unit Director, the incumbent will function in the circulating and scrub role. The clinical nurse is an integral part of the surgical team, working collaboratively to ensure patient safety, implement nursing interventions, and participate in process and quality improvement initiatives.

Wexe2x80x99re seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated nursing professional with:
xc2xb7 Current valid California RN license, required
xc2xb7 BSN or MSN, required
xc2xb7 2 years of operating room experience as an RN, required
xc2xb7 BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, required
xc2xb7 Experience in orthopedic surgery, specifically total joint arthroplasty, preferred.
xc2xb7 Skill in implementing appropriate nursing interventions on a consistent basis
xc2xb7 Ability to perform historical, physical and behavioral patient assessments
xc2xb7 Ability to develop and implement and evaluate patient care plan actively involving patients, family, and staff
xc2xb7 Official Transcripts and/or original diploma from a registered nursing program must be provided upon hire
