RN - OR - Travel

We are seeking a skilled RN with expertise in the Operating Room for a travel position. The role requires proficiency in patient assessment, clinical skills, and emergency equipment operation. The candidate will perform pre-operative and post-operative assessments and ensure accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough and accurate patient assessments across all age groups.
• Provide competent nursing care and demonstrate clinical skills.
• Maintain complete and accurate patient documentation.
• Respond professionally to patients, families, and co-workers.
• Ensure patient safety by following protocols and using safe transfer techniques.
• Individualize patient care based on surgical procedures and anesthesia type.
• Contribute to the perioperative team by prioritizing patient care.
• Educate patients and families about surgical procedures and instructions.
• Support timely completion of patient testing and evaluate Pre Admission Testing orders.

Skills and Requirements

• 1 year experience
• BLS - Required
• RN License - Required
• CNOR - Preferred
