Compensation
- Annual Salary Range: $60,000 – $92,000
Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) to join an outpatient float team in Great Falls, Montana. This role is responsible for delivering professional nursing care within clinic settings while supporting care coordination between patients, providers, and clinical staff.
The RN Outpatient Float serves as a key communication liaison and assists in maintaining efficient daily clinic operations while supporting multiple outpatient care environments as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Clinical Support
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established clinical standards and protocols
- Assist providers during patient evaluations, treatments, and procedures
- Monitor patient conditions and communicate updates appropriately
- Support efficient patient flow and clinic operations
Care Coordination
- Coordinate care between patients, providers, and interdisciplinary clinical staff
- Serve as the primary liaison for communication across care teams
- Ensure timely follow-up and continuity of care
Leadership & Team Collaboration
- Supervise and provide direction to:
- Collaborate closely with clinical managers, coordinators, and providers
- Promote a positive and team-oriented clinical environment
Qualifications
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Must maintain continuing education requirements according to state and federal regulations
Experience
- RN clinic experience preferred
- Candidates with less than 1 year of experience may be considered
Licensure & Certifications
- Active RN License in Montana or ability to obtain prior to start
- Current BLS certification required
Required Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Understanding of basic nursing principles and clinical procedures
- Basic office and computer/keyboard proficiency
- Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient environment
