Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU
Location: Denver, CO 80218
Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Local Pay: $50/hr. on W2
Travel Pay: $2172.25/Weekly (Blended)
Shift: Days, 10-Hour Shifts | (Weekdays)

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a pre-operative setting. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective treatment. This role includes weekday coverage, cross-coverage in pre-op, and participation in the on-call schedule.

Job Duties

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Perform nursing assessments, administer treatments, medications, and delegated medical functions.
• Monitor patient progress, review treatment plans, and coordinate appropriate referrals when needed.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, procedures, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Provide cross-coverage in the pre-op department and participate in the on-call rotation as required.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) CO state or compact state license is required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Recent 1 to 2 years of Registered Nurse PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) experience required.
