• ·         Proven experience in PACU or post-anesthesia recovery with a strong foundation in critical care medicine and acute pain management
• ·         Proficiency with EHR systems like Epic or Cerner for seamless medical documentation and patient tracking
• ·         Skilled in performing complex procedures including suturing, tube feeding management, laboratory specimen collection/processing, and ventilator management
• ·         Knowledge of advanced nursing practices such as ICU experience, trauma medicine, infectious disease care, and emergency room protocols
• ·         Familiarity with ICD-10 coding standards for accurate documentation of diagnoses and procedures
• ·         Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia care needs
• ·         Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data security

• ·         Monitor and assess patients’ vital signs, airway status, and overall condition during the immediate postoperative period
• ·         Administer medications, including pain management interventions such as opioid and non-opioid therapies, ensuring adherence to prescribed protocols
• ·         Perform advanced procedures such as suturing, IV infusion, catheterization, and aseptic technique to support patient recovery
• ·         Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans and discharge readiness
• ·         Manage acute pain and respond swiftly to emergent situations using critical care techniques within a Level I or Level II trauma center setting
• ·         Document all patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records (EHR systems) such as Epic or Cerner
• ·       Educate patients and their families on postoperative care instructions, including wound care, medication administration, and activity restrictions
