What You’ll Do:

• Provide specialized nursing care in the PACU, following the nursing process
• Assess patients’ recovery, vital signs, and readiness for discharge
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe patient outcomes
• Delegate tasks appropriately to licensed and ancillary team members
• Educate patients and families about post-procedure care
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and hospital policies
• Document care accurately and timely using electronic health records
• Adapt care approaches based on patient needs and cultural considerations

What You Need: Required:

• Valid RN license in Louisiana
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI certifications
• Minimum 2 years of PACU or critical care nursing experience
• Proficiency with medical software and documentation

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or higher
• Certification in a clinical specialty area
• Strong organizational and communication skills
