Responsibilities

The esponsible for various aspects of patient flow throughout the continuum of care. Excellent communication skills and critical thinking are required to coordinate the activities of the Command Center. You will collaborate with internal and external Physicians, Supervisors, and leadership to facilitate the safe movement of patients into appropriate Inpatient rooms or the appropriate area of the hospital. Command Center RNs function in both the Transfer Center and Bed Control roles to manage patient flow and facilitate operations.

Qualifications

Education

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or health related field preferred

 

Experience

  • 2 years of experience in an acute care setting required
