Job Description
Job Title: RN PCU
Location: Rochester, NY
Shift: Night (3x12 Hours) 19:00 7:00
Weekend: Every other weekend
Travel Package: $2,100 -2,200 per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to adult acute-care/PCU patients
- Monitor telemetry and pulse-oximetry
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias
- Respond to Rapid Response/Code situations
- Manage IV therapy, phlebotomy, arterial and central lines
- Provide oxygen therapy and non-invasive airway management/BiPAP
- Administer and monitor titrated IV medications
- Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC
- Follow isolation precautions and collaborate with the care team
Requirements:
- NY RN License
- BLS & NIHSS required
- EPIC experience required
- Must be comfortable with 1:5–1:7 patient ratios
- MedSurg/IMCU experience preferred
- Cardiac monitoring & dysrhythmia management
- Rapid Response/Code Team experience
- IV therapy, phlebotomy & oxygen therapy
