Title: RN- Pediatric & Adolescent Psych
Location: Syracuse, New York
Duration: 17 weeks
Shift: Day Shift – 07:00 AM–07:30 PM or 11:00 AM–11:30 PM; every other weekend and some holidays

Weekly Gross: $2300-$2400(Based on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to adolescent psychiatric patients in an inpatient setting.
• Care for both adolescent and adult patients as required.
• Perform nursing assessments and patient-care functions with minimal orientation and supervision.
• Monitor patient condition and response to treatment.
• Provide safe, compassionate, and effective psychiatric nursing care.
• Collaborate with physicians and other members of the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using EPIC Electronic Medical Records.
• Work every other weekend and some holidays.

Requirements:

• Current New York State RN registration/license required.
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent experience within the past 2 years in an acute care facility; 2 years of experience listed as required in the skills section.
• Inpatient psychiatric experience with both adult and adolescent patients required.
• BLS certification required and must be eligible for recertification.
• EPIC Electronic Medical Records experience highly desired.
• Level I trauma hospital experience highly desired.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional license/certification must be in good standing.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment health clearance, drug screening, and criminal background check.
