RN - Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

Job Title: RN – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) – Critical Need

Location: Roseville, CA
Start Date: 10/04/2026
Shift: Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Pay Rate:

Local: $80/hr on W2

Travel: $3,520.91 Weekly Gross

Requirements:

·         Minimum 1 year of recent PICU/RN experience within the last 3 years

·         Graduate of an accredited nursing program

·         Active California RN License

·         BLS – Required

·         PALS – Required

Key Duties:

·         Provide direct nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU.

·         Assess, monitor, and document patients' conditions and responses to treatment.

·         Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.

·         Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders.

·         Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, oxygenation, and other critical parameters.

·         Recognize changes in patient condition and promptly escalate concerns to the appropriate provider.

·         Assist with emergency interventions and stabilization of critically ill pediatric patients.

·         Educate and support patients' families regarding treatment plans and care.

·         Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.

·         Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation while following hospital policies and patient-safety standards.
