Job Summary and Qualifications We ar e seeking a Pedi atrics RN to join our healthcare team. Your primary functio n is to provide car e for infants, children, and adolescents with an age range of 0-17 years. Care is provided to patients with a variety of medical-surgical diagnosis . Y ou will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner. In this role you will : Demonstrate knowledge and application of the nursing proce ss to infants, children, and adolescents . Consult and coordinate with health care team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Measure patient's vital signs, such as blood pressure, breathing and heart rate, and initiates corrective action whenever the patient displays adverse symptomatology . Perform physical, medical and diagnostic tests . Prepa re, administer , and record prescribed medications. Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments . Assist treating physician during examination, treatment and procedures . Provide education, information , and support to the patient's family . Job Requirements : Associates Degree in Nursing or Diplom a in Nursing Required , Bachelor Degree in Nursing preferred Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required . Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
