Job Summary: Perform the professional functions of a Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients. Functions as Scrub Technician when needed. Coordinate, manage, provide and delegate patient care. Responsible for meeting the established Standards of Nursing Practice, and promoting cooperation among the health care team. Job Requirements: Education and Work Experience: Graduate of a school of nursing: Required One-year recent acute care RN experience in an operating room: Preferred Licenses/Certifications: Current RN license in state of practice: Required Basic Life Support (BLS)?certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required Advanced Cardiovascular?Life Support (ACLS)?certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required within 30 days of hire Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice: Required Facility Specific License/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required Essential Functions: Assures patients? personal needs are met. Recognizes signs and symptoms of cardiac or respiratory distress, or other impending emergencies. Demonstrates knowledge and ability to effectively function in Code Blue and other emergency situations. Accurately administers and charts medications according to hospital policies and procedures adhering to patient?s rights. Requirements:
