Job Title: RN Perioperative Circulator – Surgery Center
Location: Oklahoma City, OK 73104
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift/Schedule: Days, 4x10s (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM), No call, No weekends, No holidays
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients in the operating room.
- Plan, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate perioperative nursing care.
- Assess, monitor, and document all aspects of patient care using the nursing process.
- Individualize patient care based on age, health status, and surgical procedure.
- Maintain patient safety throughout operative and invasive procedures.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Follow AORN standards and perioperative best practices.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Active Oklahoma RN License or Compact (eNLC) RN License.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Minimum 1 year of acute operating room experience.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
- Strong knowledge of professional nursing practices and perioperative procedures.
- Excellent understanding of AORN Standards.
- Ability to organize, coordinate, and evaluate nursing care.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills.
Preferences:
- Ophthalmology operating room experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher.
- CNOR certification.
