What Youll Do
Provide direct patient care in the Pediatric ICU, utilizing the nursing process to assess needs and implement treatment plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
Delegate tasks and coordinate with licensed and ancillary team members
Educate patients and families, adapting communication to individual needs
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and hospital policies
Maintain clinical documentation accurately and timely
Support unit and departmental goals to enhance patient satisfaction and safety
What You Need
Current Louisiana RN license
Minimum 2 years of pediatric ICU nursing experience
BLS, PALS, CPI certifications from the American Heart Association and Crisis Prevention Institute
Excellent communication, organizational, and team skills
Ability to work independently and adapt to fast-paced environments
