Registered Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Pay Range: $50 to $58/hr. Location: Jackson, MI 49201 Job Type: Contract Shift: 7PM - 7AM; Weekend and holiday availability required
Job Description:
Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
2+ recent years experience as a PCU/Stepdown/Tele.
Experience with medication drips.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
BLS from AHA
ACLS from AHA
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
