Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
BSN or upon hire BSN completion agreement for enrollment in an accredited BSN Completion Program
If hired prior to 1-1-14 in Winnebago County and prior to 9-1-14 in Rock, Walworth and McHenry Counties an ADN only is required.
Minimum 1 year RN experience, preferably pulmonology or critical care.
Licensed as an RN in state of practice
Approved BLS certification required within 90 days (Other certification per unit requirements: ACLS, PALS, PEARS, NRP)

The employee is occasionally required to handle, finger, feel, climb, and balance. The employee must frequently life up to 10 lbs. and occasionally up to 20 lbs. Specific abilities required by this job include performing repetitive tasks/motions, distinguish colors, hear alarms/telephones/tape recorder normal speaking voice, good manual dexterity, good eye-hand-foot coordination and the ability to see.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
