Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide post-anesthesia and recovery care while monitoring patients' clinical status, medications, hemodynamics, and ventilator needs.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current Massachusetts RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Successful Pharmacology exam
• Basic Arrhythmia Program or challenge exam
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU/CVICU/CVPA/ER/SDC/PACU experience within the last 5 years
• Proficiency with IV starts
• Hemodynamic monitoring
• Ventilator care
• Strong English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior SDC or PACU experience
• BSN preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive PACU/recovery-room nursing care
• Perform patient assessments
• Monitor vital signs and clinical condition
• Monitor responses to medications and treatments
• Perform IV starts, hemodynamic monitoring, and ventilator care
• Maintain accurate patient documentation
• Communicate patient information to the healthcare team
• Provide patient and family education
• Support charge nurse, orientation, and staff education duties when assigned
• Participate in quality-improvement activities
• Follow safety and infection-control standards
• Maintain professional development and patient confidentiality
