- Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM
- Every other weekend requirement

Requirements

- RN Registered Nurse License
- RN Professional nationally recognized and applicable to the current primary area of practice - CCRN CDN or CNN
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing OR BS Healthcare related field OR an RN Professional Nurse Specialty Certification within 7 months of hire
- Promotion
- 2-years RN experience in the ICU in an Acute Care setting
- BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- ACLS certification with the American Heart Association
Charge Registered Nurse - ICU Responsibilities and Skills

Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of ICU patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
- Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
- Care for patient needs throughout their recovery in critical care
- Monitor record and update care team on patient vitals and assessments
- Identifying sudden or subtle changes in a patients medical condition
- Responding to medical emergencies for critical patients
- Coordinates and documents appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge
- High emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience that includes simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient
- Professional accountability and development
- Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team
- Developing self and team members and sharing organizational information
